Children’s Department

Dentistry @ Ballarat’s well-structured children’s department is dedicated to providing ideal care for your growing child. Our highly skilled therapists are specifically trained in tailoring treatments to your
children’s needs.

The team’s primary focus is on preventative measures to educate children, instil positive lifelong dental habits, and reduce the ongoing need for invasive or costly treatments that may be difficult for your child. Another important focus is on regular orthodontic assessment, as this leads to early recognition and minimisation of the treatment required for potential dental problems.

We offer regular hygiene and education demonstrations, including advice to parents. Our aim is to help children avoid the pain of toothache and develop lifelong positive attitudes to the health of one of the most important parts of the body. To accomplish this, we have created a dedicated children’s area.
